Job Title: Blood Bank Technician
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary:-
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Blood Bank Technician to manage blood collection, testing, processing, storage, and distribution while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in blood bank operations, laboratory procedures, and transfusion medicine.
Key Responsibilities:-
* Collect, process, and prepare blood and blood components for transfusion.
* Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, and compatibility testing.
* Screen blood samples for infectious diseases as per established protocols.
* Label, store, and monitor blood units under appropriate conditions.
* Maintain accurate records of blood donors, blood inventory, and transfusion activities.
* Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of blood products.
* Operate and maintain blood bank laboratory equipment.
* Follow quality assurance protocols and infection control guidelines.
* Assist in organizing blood donation camps and donor registration activities.
* Comply with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and blood bank procedures.
Required Skills:-
* Strong knowledge of blood banking, immunohematology, and transfusion practices.
* Proficiency in blood grouping, cross-matching, and laboratory testing.
* Familiarity with blood bank equipment and laboratory information systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications:-
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or a related field.
* Certification or specialization in Blood Bank Technology is preferred.
* 2–5 years of experience in a hospital blood bank or diagnostic laboratory.
* Knowledge of NABH, NACO, and blood bank regulatory guidelines will be an added advantage.
